PETALING JAYA: Malaysians should strive to ensure that the harmony between the different races is maintained, especially in the face of threats of extremism and certain racially-tinged incidents.

MCA president Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai said the recent incident at Low Yat Plaza was an indicator that race relations remained an important issue in the country.
