Subra: Points raised by Palanivel not valid

PUTRAJAYA: Legal points raised by Datuk Seri G. Palanivel’s faction on MIC are invalid as only the 2009 Central Working Committee (CWC) can interpret the constitution, says party deputy president Datuk Seri Dr S. Subramaniam.

Citing the party rule book which states the CWC’s interpretation is the deciding factor when it came to deciding party constitution matters, Dr Subramaniam said the 2009 CWC was the one recognised by the court as well as the Registrar of Societies (RoS).
