NGOs want United States to send Alvin Tan home to face charges


KUALA LUMPUR: A group of non-governmental organisations (NGO) handed over a memorandum to the United States' embassy on Friday, seeking the return of controversial sex blogger Alvin Tan to Malaysia.

Pertubuhan Minda Dan Social Prihatin president Ramesh Rao said asylum should only be given to those coming from countries facing conflicts.
