TUMPAT: The latest tactics used by smugglers to bring cigarettes into Kelantan was foiled on Sunday when the state’s anti-smuggling unit seized 9,500 cartons of cigarettes worth almost RM1.4mil.
State anti-smuggling unit commander Rusli Karim said that three raids were conducted at Kampung Bunut Payong and Pasir Tumboh at 5am based on information obtained through surveillance.
