KUALA LUMPUR: Three editors from The Malaysian Insider (TMI) walked out of the Dang Wangi police headquarters at 9pm Wednesday, to cheers from gathered media personnel, after police failed to get a remand order on them.
Lionel Morais, Zulkifli Sulong and Amin Iskandar were released on police bail at 6.30pm Wednesday but stayed on in the station until 9pm.
