Kidex deal extended by nine months

KUALA LUMPUR: The Federal Government has extended the concession agreement for the Kinrara-Damansara highway by nine more months, a day before its Feb 15 expiry date.

In a statement on Saturday, Kidex Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Datuk Mohd Nor Idrus said that its conditions precedent period had been extended until Nov 14.

" Kidex Sdn Bhd (KSB) wishes to announce that the Government of Malaysia & KSB, parties to the Concession Agreement (CA) dated 15 November 2013, have hereby agreed that the Conditions Precedent (CP) Period (as defined in the CA), is extended for a further period of nine months commencing from 15 February 2015 and expiring on 14 November 2015," said Mohd Nor Idrus.
