PUTRAJAYA: Newly appointed MIC secretary-general Datuk G. Kumaar Aamaan began his lone hunger strike on Thursday outside the Registrar of Societies' (RoS) office in Chancery Building, saying he would do so "until the last breath", to protest the body's decision to invalidate his post.

G. Kumaar, who was reserved and flanked by supporters from party president Datuk Seri G. Palanivel's camp, said he would sleep outside the RoS building at Jalan Diplomatik 2 and drink only water.
