Floods: Anxious relatives praying for victims’ safety

The belongings of Saadah's parents' home were destroyed in the floods in Pasir Mas, Kelantan.

PETALING JAYA: Being 600km away from her hometown, Saadah Mat Husain could not help but feel anxious over the fate of her family members in flood-stricken Kelantan.

Since communications were severed due to the worsening floods, the 30-year-old said she was worried about her ailing mother-in-law in Kuala Krai, whom she last contacted on Tuesday.
