Education Ministry denies leak in SPM maths paper


PETALING JAYA: The Education Ministry has dismissed rumours on Facebook that there was a leak in Mathematics Paper 2 (code 1449/2) in the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM).

The two-and-a-half hour paper was held on Wednesday from 10am to 12.30pm.

The ministry denied that Mathematics Paper 2  (code 1449/2) was leaked in Malacca, Selangor and Sabah.

There would also be no resit for the paper on Dec 5 as stated in Facebook, the ministry added, in its statement.

The ministry said the SPM would continue as scheduled.

The Examinations Syndicate said earlier that 455,839 candidates had registered for the SPM which started on Monday.
