PETALING JAYA: Universiti Malaya will not be locked down on Monday as reported by a news portal,said police.
Brickfields OCPD Asst Comm Muhammad Azlee Abdullah denied that the police would be monitoring the situation at the university.
"We will not be going down to the university as they have adequate in house security.
"However, we are on standby and will deploy personnel if the situation calls for it," he said.
