Burger seller shot in robbery bid

JASIN: A burger seller who came to the aid of a woman during an attempted robbery at a mini market here nearly lost his life when he was shot.

Nor Mohamad Idris Mohamad, 30, was shot in the right ankle by one of the two robbers who were fleeing after failing to get the woman to hand over the day’s collection and her valuables at about 8.15pm on Wednesday in Taman Bukit Tembakau, Umbai.
