MALACCA: The new level of tint for the rear windshield and passengers windows of cars must be at 30% of Visible Light Transmission (VLT) – down from 50% – under a new regulation from Nov 1.

However, the tint for front windscreens remains at 70% and driver’s windows at 50%.
