DAP re-election invalid, says ex-MP

PETALING JAYA: The DAP party re-election on Sept 29 last year was invalid as delegates from 120 branches that had yet to be registered had attended and voted at the poll, said former Wangsa Maju MP Wee Choo Keong.

Wee said that while delegates from 865 branches took part in an earlier DAP election on Dec 15, 2012, Ong Kian Ming from the DAP secretariat had announced during the re-election in September last year that there were 985 branches taking part.
