Khalid must detain Muslim convert who abducted child from ex-wife

IPOH: Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar has fewer than seven days from today to arrest a Muslim convert who abducted his youngest child from his ex-wife.

Khalid has become the country’s first IGP and possibly the only one in his position throughout the Com­monwealth countries to face a mandamus order, which was issued by the Ipoh High Court yesterday.
