Customs Department deploys 400 personnel to illegal cigarette hotspots


KUALA LUMPUR: Some 400 Customs Department personnel have been deployed to in illegal cigarettes hotspots nationwide to curb the sale and consumption of the contraband.

Its director-general Datuk Seri Khazali Ahmad (pic) said the ops would begin at Kampung Baru and Chowkit, where 18 men would be placed for 24 hours as part of the special ops codenamed Ops Pacak.
