Cop, unemployed man charged with wrongful confinement of Datuk


KUALA LUMPUR: A policeman and an unemployed man were charged in a Magistrate's Court on Wednesday with intent to wrongful confinement a Datuk for a ransom worth RM790,000.

Lans Corporal Muhammad Al Mubarak Zulkifli, 26 and Rizal Affandi Shafiee, 35, with several others who had already been charged and still at large, were accused of wrongful confinement of a 33-year-old Datuk to obtain the ransom.
