MALACCA: The state legislative assembly approved a motion to control and restrict the sale of glue on Monday in a move to curb glue-sniffing, making it the first state in the country to do so.
The motion, proposed by Barisan Nasional's Klebang assemblyman Lim Ban Hong, was supported by 21 BN assemblymen and the PAS assemblyman for Bukit Baru, Dr Md Khalid Kassim. The six DAP elected representatives abstained.
