GEORGE TOWN: Police have recorded statements from two journalists over a racial slur allegedly uttered by Bukit Gelugor independent candidate Abu Backer Sidek Mohamad Zan on nomination day.
Asst Comm Azmi Adam said they were waiting for witnesses to come forward before wrapping up their investigation.
