Selangor dam levels still low, rationing cannot stop, says Khalid

SHAH ALAM: Selangor residents will have to endure water rationing for now, as raw water levels in dams are still low.

"For the time being, we cannot withdraw the water rationing directive. This is because it will result in worse consequences as the water level in the dams will drop faster," state Mentri Besar Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim said in reply to Datuk Mohd Shamsuddin Lias (BN-Sungai Burong), who called for an end to water rationing.
