KL Monorail’s new four-car train to start operation in August


The all-new four-car trains undergoing final testing sessions at the KL Monorail Depot in Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur before commencing service in the third quarter of 2014.

KUALA LUMPUR: KL Monorail's new four-car train with better safety features and disabled persons (OKU) friendly will start operation in August.

Executive vice-president of Rolling Stock Department, Prasarana Integrated Management & Engineering Services Sdn Bhd, Muhammad Isom Azis said initially, only two sets of train would be used to replace two carriages that were over 10 years.
