13-year-old dies 40 hours after being struck by lightning

MALACCA: A Form One student of the Mara Junior Science College in Alor Gajah near here died more than 40 hours after he was struck by lightning.

Johan Jasmin, 13, died at about 5.30pm yesterday while being treated at the Malacca Hospital’s intensive care unit.
