THE case of a missing person’s report filed in October took on a new twist when Isakkimuthu and two others surrendered to police on Thursday, saying that Sriram, 24, had not gone missing but had been murdered.
Makkal Osai reported that Isakkimuthu’s 19-year-old daughter Sonia from Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu, had eloped with Sriram last year. They were distant relatives and both families opposed the relationship.
