RTM suspends Chinese sitcom over alleged links to Teresa Kok video


PETALING JAYA: Radio Television Malaysia (RTM) has suspended the broadcast of 88 Kopitiam, a Chinese-dialect programme, following allegations that one of its actors appeared in Seputeh MP Teresa Kok's Chinese New Year video.

In a statement released on Saturday, its director-general Datuk Norhyati Ismail said RTM would investigate any programme which actors were involved in activities that could tarnish the country’s image.
