No reason to remove Jawi script from mission school

JAWI scripts on a school signboard in Bukit Mertajam caused a stir among some educationists, Kosmo! reporte­d.

However, Penang education director Datuk Ahmad Tarmizi Kama­ruddin said there was no reason to remove the script or replace the signboard at the SM Convent as the writings had no religious connotation.
