Muslim NGOs stage protest at stadium

KLANG: The Klang Muslim Solidarity Secretariat, a coalition of Muslim NGOs, gathered at the Sultan Sulaiman Stadium here to protest against the use of the word “Allah” by Christians.

The peaceful demonstration yesterday was a reaction to a statement allegedly made by Father Lawrence Andrew, editor of Catholic weekly The Herald, that Christians in the state would go on using “Allah” during Mass.
