THE proposal to introduce military conscription for Malaysia’s youths in the National Service (NS) will have to be studied first, says Deputy Defence Minister Datuk Abdul Rahim Bakri.
The implications of conscription or compulsory military service for Malaysia’s youths must be looked into before any decision is made on the matter, he added.
