Strong winds, rough seas warning following Typhoon Usagi


KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Meteorological Department on Thursday issued a warning of strong winds and rough seas due to Typhoon Usagi spotted about 839km to the Northeast of Manila, Philippines.

Following the typhoon detected at 11am, strong Southwesterly winds of 50-60km per hour with waves up to 4.5 metres high occurring off the waters of Sarawak (Miri), Labuan, the West Coast and Kudat (Sabah) are expected to continue until Monday.
