MALACCA: The plan had been to allow traffic into the iconic Jonker Walk night market during weekends for one month as a test. However, the deadline – which ended on July 28 – has now been extended.
This was because traders at the site did not give their full co-operation to the state government to complete its intended traffic research, said state executive councillor Datuk Ismail Othman.
