Dept: Avoid religious insensitivities

PETALING JAYA: The recent string of incidents that allegedly insulted Muslim sensitivities, especially during Ramadan, should have been avoided, said National Unity and Integration Department director-general Datuk Azman Amin Hassan.

Expressing regret that such incidents occurred during Ramadan, a time when people should be at peace with each other, Azman said that people desired tranquillity during the holy month so as to be in the mood to celebrate Hari Raya.
