Arbitrator charged with making false declaration to KLRCA

KUALA LUMPUR: Chartered arbitrator Yusof Holmes Abdullah is facing two charges of making a false declaration to the Kuala Lumpur Regional Centre for Arbitration (KLRCA).

At the Sessions Court yesterday, he claimed trial to a charge of deceiving the KLRCA with a false statement of independence and thus intentionally leading the centre’s director to appoint him as arbitrator in a dispute between two companies.
