Taiwanese rock band Mayday (Wu Yue Tian) is in trouble for uploading black-and-white photographs of themselves with scarves over their mouths on Facebook as a protest against alleged restrictions on freedom of speech after Malaysia’s 13th general election.
It was reported in Sin Chew Daily that Bandar Tun Razak MCA chairman Chiew Lian Keng had criticised the band members’ actions and told them not to be “busybodies” because they were not Malaysians.
