JOHOR BARU: Police will have access to every closed-circuit television cameras (CCTVs) in the state under the SafeCam PDRM project which is the latest plan to reduce crime.

It would allow police to gain access to the 19,336 CCTVs that had been installed in government buildings, residential areas, shoplots, offices and other public places throughout the state, Home Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein said.
