KUALA LUMPUR: Shah Alam High Court judge Datuk Akhtar Tahir did not hear the applications for a stay of execution over a six-year jail sentence imposed on Sabak Bernam MP Datuk Abdul Rahman Bakri and his aide Rosli Busro.

Clarifying this, Shah Alam High Court Judge Datuk Abdul Alim Abdullah, who granted a formal stay of execution, said several media reports had stated that Akhtar had dismissed the applications.
