MALACCA: Police have crippled a gang, including two 16-year-old students, believed to be responsible for a string of ruthless robberies targeting people walking alone and newspaper vendors here for the past two months.

State CID chief Asst Comm Raja Sharom Raja Abdullah said the gang, whose other members were former college students, would rent a car to stage their robberies.
