Pile-up causes traffic gridlock

BUKIT MERTAJAM: Thousands of motorists were caught in an hour-long traffic jam stretching eight kilometres after a seven-vehicle pile-up at Km139.7 of the North-South Expressway (NSE).

A trailer transporting concrete slabs was heading north when it was believed to have had a brake failure at about 5.40pm on Thursday.
