Malacca to probe sex abuse claims at welfare home

MALACCA: The state government will investigate previous allegations of sexual abuse of some 150 male residents at a welfare home in Durian Daun here.

State Woman, Family Development and Welfare Committee chairman Datuk Norpipah Abdol said this was because the allegations had re-surfaced after these first came to light in 2004.
