A STAMPEDE at the distribution of fish prasadam (offering), an annual event that attracts thousands of asthma patients from different parts of India, left one person dead and 12 others injured in Hyderabad on Friday, reported Tamil Nesan.
The stampede occurred when hundreds of people who had assembled outside the Katedan sports complex surged forward after the police opened the main gate.
