THE works to be auctioned are on preview until May 5 at the White Box, MAP @ Publika, in Dutamas, Kuala Lumpur. Among the more desirable works available include top artist Ahmad Zakii Anwar's1998 acrylic on linen, Blue Kebayar, which is a steal even at the high estimate of RM35,000.
Another sought-after artist's work is Chong Siew Ying's 2008 oil on linen, Isle of Gold. Despite the breasts of the model being pixelated out in the catalogue, this painting is another good buy even at RM30,000.
