KUALA LUMPUR: The death of student Sobaanthiran Pillai, the only son of former Kuala Lumpur prosecution chief B. Sarala Pillai, in 2009 was a result of a road accident, the coroner's court ruled Monday.
The deceased's parents had applied to the Attorney-General's Chambers for an inquest as they believed police investigations were not carried out properly into cause of their son's death, his father Balakrishnan Pillai told reporters here.
