Parents protest over land that has gone missing

TAMIL NESAN reported that parents of students of SJK(T) Bandar Springhill in Lukut, Negri Sembilan, staged a demonstration in front of the school on Saturday, claiming that the state education department had only given 0.81ha of land for the school although the developer had allocated 2.42ha for it.

Parent Teacher Association chairman P. Lingeswaran said the school, which was originally in Jinmimath Estate, was moved to Bandar Springhill in 2002 as the estate was being redeveloped.
