MCA alarmed over Bible teacher’s transfer

KUALA LUMPUR: The immediate transfer of SMK Damansara Jaya’s senior assistant-cum-acting head apparently due to her role in teaching Bible Knowledge to the school’s Form Five students is alarming, said MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek.

Ruth Cheah Kah Yok, who taught at the school for almost 25 years and was transferred out early this month, had been teaching students who had registered to sit for the SPM Bible Knowledge exam this year.
