KUALA LUMPUR: Local Mitsubishi vehicle distributor Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia Sdn Bhd has given an assurance that the technical collaboration between Mitsubishi Motors Corp and Proton Holdings Bhd only involved the Lancer model.
“Other than the Lancer, no other Mitsubishi model currently distributed by Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia, including recently launched vehicles – the all-new Lancer Sportback in October and the ASX compact crossover this month, will be based on this technical collaboration in the future,” said its chief executive officer Tetsuya Oda in a statement yesterday.
