Panel to decide on family feud

PUTRAJAYA: The family of late millionaire businessman Raja Nong Chik Raja Ishak’s second wife cannot intervene in the appeal of a civil case relating to his shares and companies, the Federal Court heard.

Lawyer Malik Imtiaz Sarwar, appearing for the family of the millionaire’s first wife and six others, submitted that they (the family of the second wife) could not, in fact and in law, intervene in the appeal because they did not have any legal interest in the subject of the appeal.
