JOHOR BARU: The Higher Education Ministry will introduce more technical-based courses in polytechnics to boost the number of male students in local higher learning institutions.
Higher Education Minister Datuk Seri Khaled Nordin said there was a marked gender imbalance in local universities where boys only made up between 25% and 30% of the total student population.
