POPULAR actress Umie Aida created history as the first Malaysian artiste to have her marriage solemnised in the holy city of Mecca, reported Berita Harian.
Umie, whose real name is Umi Khalsum Rahmad Ali, was married to Datuk Paduka Khairuddin Abu Hassan in front of the Kaabah.
