Dual-flush toilet system a must for new buildings from 2012

KUALA LUMPUR: All new commercial and private buildings will have to install the dual-flush system for toilets as a national water conservation measure beginning 2012.

National Water Services Com-mission (Span) chief executive officer Datuk Teo Yen Hua said the building sector would be given a two-year grace period to adjust to the policy change from this year under the on-going water industry restructuring exercise.
