Brickfields’ Jalan Berhala to be renamed

DEPUTY Federal Territories Minister Datuk M. Saravanan said that Jalan Berhala in Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur, would be renamed in memory of two prominent Malaysian Indians, Makkal Osai reported.

He said one part of the road would be named after K. Ramanathan Chettiar, the third MIC president from 1950 to 1951, and the other part after Tan Sri M.G. Pandithan, who was the founder-president of the Indian Progressive Front.
