MIRI: The tail end of tropical storm Nangka which had slammed into southern Philippines hit northern Sarawak yesterday.
Strong winds of between 40kph to 50kph lashed the coastal regions of Miri Division in the morning, carrying with them heavy rain which lasted for about an hour.
