KUALA LUMPUR: The crisis in PAS took a turn for the worse when 10 of its MPs issued a statement supporting their spiritual leader Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat who is dead set against unity talks with Umno.
The 10 MPs called for the party to strengthen relations with Pakatan Rakyat member parties and reject any cooperation with Umno, which was the stand taken in the party’s muktamar in Ipoh last year.
