Kuching schoolgirls present pua kumbu to US and Russia

KUCHING: Sarawak’s pua kumbu has caught the eyes of the Americans and Russians through a non-conventional way.

During a two-hour video conferencing yesterday, SMK St Teresa students Angeline Audrey and Edna Emily introduced the much sought after Iban hand-woven blanket to young audiences in Oklahoma in the United States and Ufa-shigiri in Russia.
